Founded in 1959 in Columbus, Ohio by Jim Croson, J.A. Croson began with a $500 loan from his mother and a 1950 pickup truck (pictured). The company, which has grown significantly over the years, established a Florida division in 1979 and is now recognized as one of the leading mechanical contracting firms in the Southeast. Today, our reach extends across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, largely due to our clients—developers and general contractors—requesting our involvement in their projects.
